Summary of Campsite: It is located 350 metres north of Daviot village. The site itself is set in a fairly secluded 9 acres of rough woodland and is withing a short drive from Bennachie (a local hill), the towns of Inverurie and Oldmeldrum and about 40 minutes from the city of Aberdeen. There is a train station in Inverurie that links to Aberdeen to the south and to Inverness on the north.

Summary of Campsite: Haddo Campsite is run by 1st Methlick Scout Group and can be found beside Haddo House, a National Trust property. The site has two levels and part of the pheasantry building. In the building there are 2 rooms available, a kitchen/food prep room and a sitting room. In the sitting room is a wood fire, and some sofas where the leaders of groups can chill out in an evening after the young people are bedded and plan their following days activities. In the kitchen there is a large larder fridge, a wee freezer, an urn, a kettle, microwave and a small cooker. Please note no tables and benches are supplied, and campers should be self-sufficient with these.

Summary of Campsite: Situated 8 miles from Aberdeen, Templars' Park Scout Campsite offers the ideal location for a variety of camps, activity days and many other outdoor activities. Set in 95 acres of mixed woodland and open land, Templars' Park offers a range of camping areas for up to around 1500-2000 campers, indoor accommodation facilities, site activities and opportunities for a range of outdoor activities. In addition, Templars' Park acts as the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area, including Aberdeen City & Shire, Royal Deeside, and the Cairngorms National Park, and many other activities from sea to mountain are all within exploring distance.
